An online coach, a body builder and all around, bad ass woman, fights off an attacker. I am so inspired by this woman. I am grateful for her confidence, her strength and her power. She fought back, and was able to escape her attacker.
This is what the Sheriff Chad Chronister of Hillsborough, Florida said: "I was overwhelmed with emotion at how proud I was that this victim wasn't going to allow herself to be raped."
Wait, what?
"The victim, wasn't going to ALLOW herself to be raped"
Can we all just say this out loud, and apply it to ourselves.

ALLOWED.
Myself to be raped.
ARE YOU SERIOUS?
Does ANYONE allow themselves to be raped, Chad?
Should we suggest that those who cannot defend themselves ALLOW the rape to happen?
Really, CHAD?
I am very disappointed in Chad's response to this incident. Is Nashali lucky? Yes. Did she have confidence, strength and power - YES!
She is an incredible woman.
As are all the other women, who are in fact raped, and do not escape. And in NO WAY is that their fault. They did not ALLOW themselves to be raped.
And anyone who says otherwise, can get a big fuck you.
So, Chad, YES, it's great for women to learn self defense. It is great for women to be strong.
But NEVER, EVER, does a woman, ALLOW herself to be raped. NEVER.
And if you don't understand that, you should not be a Sherriff, or in a position of power, EVER.
NO woman, ALLOWS HERSELF TO BE RAPED.
PERIOD.
